Initial Contact
Initial introduction can occur in a variety of ways. Most usually, it is through the
efforts of one of our Business Development Scientists or through a web-search by the
customer. Once preliminary discussions are underway confidentiality agreements (CDA's) are initiated.
Confidentiality Agreements
ENCO offers its own CDA online. Simply review, comment and return to us for finalization. If
you prefer to use your own CDA, our pledge is to complete the review process of your CDA within 1 business day of receipt.
Detailed Project Discussions
Following completion of the CDA process, ENCO will be prepared to enter into detailed project discussions as soon
as you would like. During this phase our project planners, management and staff will listen carefully to your proposed
plan. As needed we will offer our input to assist you with your project but we will never take the approach that we
know more about your product than you do. We want you to consider us as an extension of your own laboratories, there
to provide you assistance.
Quote/Proposal Preparation
Once all of the details of the project are finalized a quotation or proposal for the work will be prepared. Typically,
this process can take as little as one business day depending on the type of request.
Project Initiation Meeting
We believe communications plays a vital role in the success of a project so we require an initial meeting for most
projects. The project initiation meeting occurs only after the quote/proposal has been signed by all parties. The
length and scope of these meetings parallels the size of your project. Our trained staff will guide you through a
detailed project initiation process and will share with you the documents we follow to accomplish successful management
of your project including a communication module. For larger, more complex projects we will initiate a separate
communication plan that will guide the teams through the project(s) or programs.
We recognize that in most cases our customers will require an audit of some type to be performed on their behalf prior
to beginning certain projects. Our QA group works closely with all of our customers and potential customers to assist them
in the evaluation of our quality assurance programs. We will be happy to schedule a QA audit with your Quality Assurance
group at any of our facilities.
